What’s the real story behind Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s abrupt exit from The View?
Well according to sources, ABC told her a while ago that they weren’t renewing her contract when it expires, and since then, she had been in meeting with FOX to join their network.
This week, she signed with FOX to be a co-host on FOX & FRIENDS and Barbara Walters told her to make today her last day.
Obviously her teary goodbye today was like the Star Jones’ exit. The “I’m going to miss you” speech is nothing but BS.
Elisabeth doesn’t join the FOX team until September, so I guess we will see a lot of her around town.
