There are reports that Greenwich resident, Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be out of a job soon.
Us Weekly is reporting that the youngest co-host on The View was recently told by ABC executives, including show creator Barbara Walters, that they are not renewing her contract after the summer.
Sources close to the show told the magazine that market research revealed that 35-year-old Elisabeth is not popular with TV audiences mostly because of her right wing political views.
Elisabeth, who rose to fame as a contestant on the reality show “Survivor”, joined the cast of the daytime talk show in November 2003.
With her political views, it is likely that the FOX network will offer Elisabeth a job.
Also leaving the show after this season is original co-host Joy Behar.
Unlike Elisabeth, it was Joy’s decision not to return to the show.
